At LCIS Legal, we’re more than just document preparers—we’re a husband-and-wife team driven by purpose, professionalism, and the desire to make legal and business support accessible for all.Louie Musa, brings over a decade of experience working with local governments and nonprofit agencies. He has specialized in grants and budget management, overseeing portfolios exceeding $800 million across departments in social work, medical services, and public infrastructure, including roads and capital improvement projects. He’s managed complex funding streams from agencies like SAMHSA, NIH, HRSA, and various state programs. Louie also holds multiple certifications in finance, budgeting, business management, and process improvement. His multicultural, multilingual background helps him connect deeply with the diverse needs of his clients.Corina Bermudez has several years of experience in the legal field. She has worked closely with attorneys in the immigration and business sectors and supported clients in record expungement through the Public Defender’s office. Corina holds certifications in paralegal studies, criminal justice, and public safety. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and her warm, detail-oriented approach brings comfort and clarity to every client interaction.Together, Louie and Corina offer a unique blend of legal, financial, and community-focused support. Outside of work, they enjoy traveling, photography, road trips, and spending quality time with their kids—and their cats.

What is an LDA?

A Legal Document Assistant is a registered and bonded professional authorized in California to prepare legal documents for people who are handling their own legal matters. LDAs are not attorneys and cannot give legal advice—but we can help make sure your paperwork is complete, accurate, and filed correctly.

Do I need a lawyer to use your services?

Not always. If you know what type of documents you need and don’t require legal advice, we can help you complete and file them—often at a fraction of the cost of hiring an attorney.

What services can you provide?

We support small businesses, nonprofits, and families with:
- Grant writing and compliance
- Business formation and consulting
- Legal document preparation for divorces, small claims, name changes, and more
- Mobile notary and loan signing services (coming soon)

Are your services flat-rate?

Yes, most of our services are offered at affordable flat rates with no hidden fees. We’ll always explain pricing upfront—no surprises.
